About the Music Instructors
Nicole Scoffield 604 734 5289, is an accomplished
violinist who has been performing and teaching in southwest British Columbia
for over fifteen years. Besides teaching she plays the violin in numerous
bands and orchestras and is a rounded performer who composes, arranges and
sings lead occasionally. A musician’s musician this girl can go from
Bach to Rock.

Jan
Kozlowski 778 580 5667, is an accomplished drummer and percussionist
who played a wide variety of musical styles around the world. Jan's teaching
philosophy centers on "fast" methods to achieve the fullest limb independence.
Jan utilizes the latest in drumming techniques introduced
by some of the prominent contemporary drummers.
Drumming is his main profession but he also designs and builds drum kits. Jan also has a finance/economic degree from the Simon Fraser University.
About the Studio
The
Red Hot Strings studio is a private studio
located at 2668 W. Broadway at the Broadway Academy of the Arts. It's
a great space with full-length wall mirrors to help students develop proper
technique. Soft carpet underfoot makes playing relaxed and comfortable.The
studio is on a bus route and parking is nearby. Most lessons are individual
however small group lessons are occasionally offered.
